Small Update and a Few Pictures

Our agency told me yesterday that our facilitator is hopeful that the Band's will have their G & R on Monday or Tuesday. Both the Justice that signs our DOA and the Leader that signs another family's LOI have to be at the G & R.
He is planning on trying to get both of them to sign our documents after the G & R for the Bands.
Please pray the Band's do have their G & R the 1st of next week, please pray that our documents get signed at that G & R. Nobody is moving forward until after that G & R. Provided our DOA gets signed then we will be waiting on our LOI (Letter of Invitation) that is the last stage before traveling to pick up our precious gift from God. Please pray, please tell your friends to pray!

Needing An Update!

Our agency hasn't had an update from our facilitator since last week and we are dying for an update. The Band's as of yesterday still hadn't had their Giving & Receiving Ceremony. We are awaiting our Decision of Adoption to be signed another family is waiting on their Letter of Invitation, and another family is waiting for their final investigation to be completed. So we are all desperate for any updates.
Hopefully tomorrow will bring us all news!

ADORABLE Pictures............................

Runny nose and all.....................
I got several emails this morning from Angie. She says, Norman is bringing Zane home for them. Apparently my son has fell for Norman, she said when Norman walks into the baby home Zane runs up to him and just falls into his arms.
That better not mean he likes men better than women because this boy is going to be a "momma's boy".
I will never be able to thank her for all the wonderful pictures she has taken of him and the smiles. Oh the smiles have just made my heart melt. These are the first time I have actually seen our son smile. I have a feeling he is going to miss the Band's when they leave that baby home with Jayden.
Keep praying him home!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zane Needs To Come Home.................

Angie & Norman have taken many wonderful pictures of Zane while they are at the baby home this past week. They have also described my baby boy as being very sweet, affectionate, a cuddler that loves to be held. Oh how I want to be the one holding him. As you can see from the pictures he is still very tiny. He is still wearing a 6 months in clothing and even for vietnamese children this is way too small for a child his age. I pray that we bring him home soon so that we can give him the love and nourishment that he needs.
We also learned from our agency yesterday that our paperwork is on the desk of the leaders to sign our decision of adoption and then he will send it to the Justice Department to send us our Letter of Invitation. Sounds like this should happen quickly but again we are dealing with a province that doesn't meet the required timelines and there really isn't anything we can do about it. Hoping that as soon as the Band's leave there they will bring in the next family that is waiting on their Letter of Invitation and then we will go after them.
Our facilitator told the Band's we should be there next month. I am praying he knows what he is talking about and we are indeed there picking him up in October.
I keep thinking what a wonderful time that would be to bring him home, it wouldn't be too hot nor too cold. I would also be able to be home with him until after Christmas Break. Please continue to pray our son home!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing Today....................

Angie & Norman are at the baby home today with Jayden but did not have their G & R Ceremony. We are praying it is tomorrow. Someone from our agency called the baby home today and she said she could hear all the happy voices of the children having a birthday party for Jayden (his birthday was Sunday). I wonder if Zane was one of those happy voices she heard.

Our facilitator was suppose to turn in some paperwork for us today to DOJ but he didn't get to so we are also praying that he does indeed turn this paperwork into them tomorrow. Kinda worries me because anyone that has kept up with this blog knows our province usually doesn't work on Fridays. Please pray this happens.
Once this is done we will be waiting on them to issue us a Decision of Adoption and from there a Letter of Invitation. Please pray this happens soon so that we may be traveling to VietNam in a few weeks to bring our son home.

If Angie happens to send me pictures I will post them!

Thanks again for all the support, encouragement, and most of all prayers!

Finally, Movement.....................

Our province is starting to work again.
One of the two families that were ahead of us left yesterday for VietNam.
Angie & Norman will arrive on Monday, leave for the province on Wednesday, spend the night in Cantho, and on Thursday they will go to the province where they will meet Jayden for the first time and hopefully have their G & R Ceremony. The G & R will be either Thursday or Friday. Praise the Lord Jayden is coming home........
I am hoping & praying that they bring the next family in as soon as the Band's leave there and then it would be our turn. Please help me pray that they will decide to keep those pens in their hand and sign our Decision of Adoption and send us our Letter of Invitation so that we will indeed be able to travel in the next few weeks.
I am almost afraid to get to excited because in the past they have been very slow about actually finalizing these adoptions. The last family to have their G & R was in July, even though these two families have been ready since then we are just now seeing movement again. Please pray this is not the case this time.
We need our children home. With having both DIA & I600 approval for months our children should have already been home.
I am trusting the Lord that it is our turn.
Keep us in your prayers!

Thank You Lord For This Gentle Reminder.......

My friend Deb sent me this today and I will never be able to thank her enough for obeying the Lord and sending it. He knew just what I needed when I needed it.
Thank you so much, Deb.

Hi Teresa,
I was praying for you this morning 7 then this was my devotion & I just felt led to share this with you. Please know that God is laying your broken heart on others people hearts to lift you up in prayer . Please let me know when you here good news on Zane !

Today’s Truth
Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV) “But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”
Friend to Friend
What are you waiting for? Are you waiting for a new job, financial security, healing, a baby, or a restored marriage? It seems that no matter where we are in life, we are waiting for something. Personally, I’m not a fan of the waiting game. I favor control over limbo because control produces a sense of security while limbo creates feelings of vulnerability and instability.
There are many stories of “waiting” in the Bible. In some of the stories, the waiting seemed to last forever while others only waited a few, intense moments. Think of Sarai and Abram who waited for a child for nearly twenty years. Or of Hezekiah who was healed from certain death by the power of prayer. Can you identify with any of these people? Have you been waiting so long for something that you have almost given-up hope in God’s ability or desire to answer your request? Or are you like Hezekiah who received a miracle with his first prayer?
The Bible teaches us that we should “wait on the Lord.” But what does that really mean? The verb “wait” is defined as the act of waiting or looking with confidence and great expectation towards the future. Why is it, that so many times I have asked God for something and then said, “Well, we will just wait and see what happens.” Where is the confident expectation in that phrase?
Let me suggest three actions we can take to help us learn how to “wait on the Lord”, knowing and believing that He wants to help.
Trust – If we doubt God’s willingness to hear and answer our prayer, we can begin to feel bitter when we think God has heard our prayer, but He is silent. Scripture teaches us that God is unchangeable and we can rely on Him to provide the best possible path for our lives!
Resist – We must resist taking matters into our own hands. Patience is essential in many circumstances and the Holy Spirit is available to fill us with patience when we feel we cannot wait another minute.
Pray – How many times have you given a request to God and felt He had earplugs in? This situation always leads me to insistently repeat my prayer until I either give up or lose my voice. After we have given our need to the Lord, we must turn our question into a “Thank you”. Thanking God is an active display of faith that demonstrates to God and to the world a confident expectation of God’s awesome answer and provision!
Let’s Pray
Dear Heavenly Father, I have been waiting for ____ZANE TO COME HOME____________________ and I come before You today to ask for Your help. I pray that You will increase my faith today as I believe in You with confidence and eager expectation of Your answer! I believe that Your plan for my life is the best one possible and I thank You for Your answer.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Now It’s Your Turn
