Saturday At The PARK...........................

Today was the day that we were suppose to meet the other 4 families at the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia for our kids Vi Thanh Get Together. Unfortunately Zane & Chloe's mommy is a complete klutz and fell down the basement steps a couple of days ago. I broke 2 ribs and even if I could have handled the 3 hours of driving, I don't think I would have been able to walk around the zoo good enough for my children to actually get to enjoy their trip.
Instead we took them to the park and let them play. They had a great time and we stopped by for Bruster's Ice Cream on the way home. They especially enjoyed their purple dinosaur ice cream. Hopefully in a couple weeks I will be much better and we can take them to the zoo then. I just hate we missed the opportunity for Zane to play with his former baby home mates.

Four Months Ago Today...........................

We landed in Charlotte, NC with our son. Leaving 90 degree weather behind and coming to 22 degrees that morning was quite a shock to all of us especially our sweet baby boy. I expected him to scream his head off the entire 1 1/2 hour drive home to SC but he didn't he was a complete angel.
Zane's tranformation since being home is nothing short of amazing, really a God thing if you think about it. He now weighs close to 19 pounds which means he has gained almost 8 pounds since being home. His vocabulary is unbeleiveable, he is already putting 3 and 4 words together to make a sentence. Zane is still a great sleeper too. He continues to take 2 1/2 to 3 hour naps per day and sleeps 14 hours at night. I still can't beleive after having 5 children I finally have a sleeper, YEAH!!!!!!!!!!
Zane's favorite movie is Cars and he will sit through the whole 2 1/2 hour movie without moving. He and Chloe both think they have to watch it several times a day, I am quite sick of CARS. If you ask him who he loves he always has the same answer "Chloe". Even when I try to trick him and ask him who he loves Mommy or Daddy, he looks at me impatiently and says, "I LOVE CHLOE".
We are so in love with this little boy that it is almost overwhelming. I can't imagine life without him and treasure every single day.

Here Comes The Sun..............

After 4 days of continuous rain the sun finally came out today.
My youngest 2 were so happy because they were ready to get outside.
I was sitting there watching them swing thinking, "my goodness I am not going to be able to afford the haircuts this little boy is going to need". He has been home 4 months this coming Friday and already had 2 haircuts, one of those was just 3 weeks ago and you could actually see his scalp. Boy his hair sure does grow fast!
Chloe continues to enjoy her role as "Big Sister" and loves pushing Zane in the swing.

PRAISE THE LORD......JAX IS COMING HOME!

We are just praising the Lord with the news that two more babies from our baby home are coming home. Both of these families should be traveling in the next week for their G & R Ceremonies. We are so excited that one of those coming home are our friends Christy & Josh's baby boy Jax. We spent plenty of time holding and loving on Jax when we were there in November. He is a precious boy and we can't wait for him to get home, I know Jax, Chloe, and Zane are going to be great friends.
Please pray for the other 4 remaining babies that are left in the baby home. Please help us pray Dat, Dillen, Dawson, and the K baby home!
Zane and Chloe are not so patiently waiting for Dillen to come home and Daniel and I can't wait to get our hands on her again!
